About Daniel

Daniel Jacobson is a senior at Stanford University and an aspiring urban planner with a life-long interest in cities, transportation, economic development, and sustainability. His work, which includes authoring the Oakland Streetcar Plan and the Silicon Valley Infill Development Analysis, has been featured in publications such as the San Francisco Chronicle, Stanford Magazine, Financial Times Deutschland, and Fast Company.  He has also interned at HDR Inc., Calthorpe Associates, and the Port of Oakland, and is now serving as the Frank Benest Fellow at Joint Venture Silicon Valley.  He was recently awarded the Deans' Award for Academic Accomplishment at Stanford and will graduate with a B.A. with honors in Urban Studies this June.  More about Daniel.
